Frost in February

This weekend warmed up quite a bit here in Ohio and we were pretty happy about it. It has been so cold, snowy and icy so we were happy to have mid 40's. Last night the temperatures went down quite a bit and we had heavy frost when we woke up this morning. I posted some pictures of my weeping cherry tree that was covered with frost. Could it mean that spring is just around the corner? Oh - I am hoping so!!

Hey Lisa!
Neat photos!
I think that's called HoarFrost! :)
When the frost crystals grow or extend outward and upward like that............I learned that on the Weather Channel! LOL...I really need to get a life! :)

hugs!

Those are beautiful pictures of the frost. :) Makes me wish that I would have gotten to see it hear, or at least thought of it. :) A weeping cherry tree is on my list of wants for the landscaping around the house this spring. Hope to get one.

Just gotta tell you that Kath is so funny. What a hoot! :)

Love and hugs,
Stacey
